About Ek Titli
A few idiots think they can change the world! Why idiots? Because when we speak of what we intend to do, people give us the “idiot” look. We have no complaints against them, there are so many like us who want to see a change, but the difference between them and us is Action. We are working towards the change.
Change is what we call the betterment of the environment because 20 years ago the environment was much cleaner. Take a trip down memory lane, how was the road and the surrounding that led to your house, the water, what about the air? And now? What do you think the world will be 20 years from now? 10 years? The growing population can put an enormous strain on Nature and the Environment. These few idiots want to empower every citizen to directly and indirectly contribute to the betterment of the environment.
Ek Titli is a platform for people who want to exercise their enthusiasm and passion to do something for a cleaner community and a greener environment. We believe that the life of a butterfly revolves around a tree and so does all living organisms. Hence the name. (So the tree becomes the root of our existence)
The Purpose (Mission)
- Making green thinking and green living the norm not the exception
- Creating awareness and ‘action spots’ for a cleaner environment
- Providing complete solutions in the green domain to achieve the objective of a Green India and eventually a Green World by fostering alliances and associations with companies dealing with Green Technology such as Wind, Solar, Ewaste management, etc
The Vision
- To make Ek Titli an integrated solutions provider for the multiple ecological challenges the we face today
Targets we want to meet
- Conduct various plantation drives in the city and surrounding regions with the participation of various companies, organizations and individuals.
- Provide marketing capabilities for companies in the eco-sector namely solar based products, bamboo products, vermi- composting products, organic products in the lifestyle segment, bio char & bio diesel products & services.
- Customization of different plantation & landscaping options for societies & corporates.
- Conduct workshops & seminars in schools & colleges to educate them about re-use, recycling etc
- Form Eco-Clubs at societies/ schools & colleges & provide them with alternative solutions like waste management, water recycling etc.
